About

Louise is an art historian, author and scholar of the École de Paris artist, Chaïm Soutine (1893-1943). Her scholarly biography of Soutine, Reframing Chaïm Soutine. The Life and International Legacy of a Parisian Painter will be published by Bloomsbury Visual Arts in October 2026.

Louise is a Fellow of the UK’s Higher Education Academy, a member of the Association for Art History and sits on the Board of Atelier 11 Cité Falguière, Résidence Internationale d’Art et de Recherche.
